Also in season 2012 Feikes results with Appies birds are outstanding. There hardly is no race or you can find Feike in the Top 10 of Section 1. He became 1st Not-Nominated and 2nd Nominated in the competition Short-Distance. 5 of his birds ended in the top-15 Ace-Pigeons amongst them the best.
The birds who over the years were so succesfull not only are
doing well for Appie. Also other fanciers are victorious with
these pigeons.
For example the coming man Feike Wilpstra. Some years ago
he bought a coupon for a youngbird from Appie. Between these
men a warm friendship grew. The reason that now the biggest part
of Feikes team are coming from Staphorst. In 2008 Feike had the
best old "De Bonte Jannes" and the best youngbird "Too Fast" of
Department 10. Both directly from the loft of Appie. Also Feike
was 2nd champion nominated in Dep. 10 with 1800 members.

In 2006 Dick Vogelzang and Feike Wilpstra were very succesfull with birds coming from Appie. Dick won first price overall and Feike won first price section North with in total 16.500 birds in flight.
